April 23, 2024 – Nessar and Quest, in collaboration with the Centre for digital transformation of Ho Chi Minh City, organized a workshop on “Ransomware Threats and Solutions” with the participation of nearly 100 delegates.
To provide detailed information on the operation, impact, and latest trends of this malicious software, and to help individuals and organizations understand the potential risks of Ransomware, as well as to create a forum for exchanging and sharing practical experiences in preventing and responding to Ransomware attacks; building a strong cybersecurity workforce to collaborate, handle, and protect a safe network environment, on April 23, 2024, the Centre for digital transformation of Ho Chi Minh City collaborated with various organizations to organize a workshop. The workshop aimed to present and discuss technical and non-technical prevention measures to minimize the risk of attacks, and to provide guidance on developing and implementing comprehensive Ransomware prevention strategies for organizations.
The workshop was attended by nearly 100 delegates, including leaders from departments, industries of Ho Chi Minh City, representatives from districts, towns, and Thu Duc city, as well as media agencies and press.
At the workshop, Nessar engaged in discussions about the current situation and methods of ensuring information security through a presentation by Mr. Vu Thanh Cong – Director of Technology at Nessar, on the topic “Automating Data Protection at Multiple Levels to Ensure Data Safety against Ransomware Threats,” which garnered significant interest and appreciation from attending leaders and experts.
